I don’t know what to write actually but can I talk about chocolate here since I’m in a ‘chocolate mood’ hehe. Well it seems that almost everyone loves chocolate especially women. There is a chocolate lover in all of us including me. Some may like the sweet flavour, some may like a dark and bitter taste and some may also like white chocolates. Chocolate is great! Yes, for me chocolate is great and there is no doubt for that. It brings some benefits to us especially dark chocolates. Dark chocolates contain more cacao which is a strong antioxidant (not sure if the spelling is correct) that helps to dilate the blood vessels in the brain and increase blood flow to the brain. This helps us to think faster and better. According to Dr. Dirk Taubert from Cologne University, Germany, dark chocolates can reduce the blood pressure in individuals with high blood pressure and reduce the risk of having a heart disease. Other than that, chocolate also contain a chemical substance called serotonin which plays the important role to improve our emotions, sleep and to our memory. Have you ever wonder that chocolates can make us happy? Yes, it can. It produces a hormone called endorphin which brings a happy mood to us and even when we’re in love. When we fall in love, our body releases phenethylamine to the brain causing that extreme feeling of bliss. No wonder chocolates are love birds favourite! Some may say that chocolates is a symbol of love and chocolates gifts are a perfect way to tell some one how much you care.
